Despite arriving before the official check-in time, we were warmly welcomed and immediately recognised as Genius-level customers with Booking.com. Christina went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable while we waited for our room, making us feel truly valued. Her attention to detail and hospitality set a wonderful tone for our stay. The location, staff, and food were all outstanding, and the level of service we received throughout was consistently premium. Christina’s extra support on arrival made a lasting impression, and on our departure, Laura completed that same level of care by providing us with clear and helpful information about getting to the airport, taxi options, and everything we needed for a smooth journey home. We genuinely felt special during our stay, and we promised both Laura and Christina—and the entire team—that Melia Madeira will always be our hotel of choice when we return. Their customer service and thoughtful support made all the difference and helped make our time in Madeira truly unforgettable.

The room was great and Christina upgraded us to a suite, which gave us so much more space and a very large balcony. It was very pleasant to sit there in the evenings and enjoy a glass of wine. Breakfast had endless selections for every kind of food (hot, cold, beverages, etc.). The indoor pool was awesome and the hot tub was a great plus. The only negative was the fact that there is no outdoor hot tub and the outdoor pool is way too cold. The attached free parking garage is a nice feature to have.

Good food available close by. Great breakfast - multiple options to choose from. The personnel was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We liked the outdoor pool, was nice to chill there with the ocean view and a nice drink.
